Meet our team: Brendan Bush

The board of directors serves an important role in leading Red Drop Resources. These individuals dedicate their time and resources to our mission and we would not be where we are today without them! Here is a brief introduction to Brendan Bush.

Your Name: Brendan David Bush

What is your day job? Hmmm I’m a self employed photographer, studio owner, and stay at home dad...but I’m currently looking to transition into a regular job. 

When did you join the board? I joined the board maybe a year ago but I have been active with the organization for several years prior. Editor’s note: Brendan is the amazing photographer behind our event photos and many of the patient photos. he has donated his time and skills for many years for which we are very grateful!!!

Why did you join the board? Because Kristina asked me...Hahaha. But seriously, because I have a desire to serve something bigger than myself. I think a a lot about legacy and making my community a better place. When Kristina asked if I was interested in joining the board I immediately wanted to because I had seen first hand the impact the organization had on patients.

If you could say one thing to patients battling blood cancers in Rochester, what would it be? What can I do to help your time in Rochester be easier?  

What are your favorite free-time activities?  Hanging out with my kids. Camping and hiking. Spending time outside. Canoeing rivers. Dreaming. 

What is your favorite quote?  I’ve been carrying around a key chain with a picture of my kids on one side and on the other is a quote from Maya Angelou “I do my best because I’m counting on you counting on me.” That’s my favorite quote right now.
